In his own words: Dan Zahlis
Active Agenda
The Mission: Reduce workplace risk, through global collaborative development and free distribution of open technologies and ideas.
The Company: Conceptualization, design, and development of Active Agenda began in 1995. However, it wasn't until 2003 that the company's founders decided to form Active Agenda, Inc., as an open source, operational risk management software development project and company. The company is wholly owned and operated by its founders, each contributing his unique background, experience and perspective.

The Active Agenda Website contains much more about the project and if you're interested, contains a long list of articles that you can read for not only more information, but also to get a good idea of Dan's straight-forward, no-holds-barred honesty and style. It will also give you a taste of what Dan and Sunny's book will be like.
Value Chain Pirates
Dan and Sunny hope to complete and publish Value Chain Pirates in 2010. It is non-fiction and will include not only more in-depth and personal biographies of both authors but hopefully, contributions from others with similar experiences as well.
We can promise that after reading this non-fiction book, you will have a complete understanding of the author's values, what they're angry about, and what they're doing to help change what they believe is wrong with the world today. We predict that it will not be boring, and it certainly could stir up some controversy or—at the very least—some very lively conversations! Watch for excerpts sometime in the first half of 2010 and decide for yourself.
